He is getting more comfortable at the plate with every at-bat, and is on the verge of becoming something very special.
Crisp is speed, average, defense and power. He stays.
Gerut is playing like a player with something to prove. He has to stay.
Blake -- has a multi-year contract.
Aaron Boone has been a disaster, yes. But I can't imagine he's done. He looks like an incredible waste of money at this point.
But what about Blake? He had three hits today, but he hasn't been that far above .200 all year.
I have been amused in each of the last two seasons, because he has never seemed as good as his stats have shown.
But if I hear one more Indians announcer say "Boy, Blake is ready to bust lose," I am going to deck someone.
It's May 27. The offense is still not driving in runs--they left 13 on base against the Twins Thursday.
I think the best thing is to hope that Juan comes back, everyone starts to wake up, and the offense starts to produce.
That is more concerning that getting everyone at-bats in a mediocre offense.
Although, not as concerning as that thing under Wedge's nose.Zachhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00344385023364633170noreply@blogger.com
